Applications are invited in prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Institute.

1. Name of the Temporary Post : Junior Research Fellow (1 No.)
2. Name of the Research Project : "Fabrication of Micro-Holes using Ultra-Sonic Vibration Assisted Micro-Drilling using PVD/CVD Coated Tools"
3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Department of Atomic Energy(DAE) Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences(BRNS)
4 Tenure of the Project : 03 Years
5 Tenure of the Assignment : 03 Years
6 Job Description : To assist in research for fabrication of ultra-sonic vibration assisted table in multiprocessor micro-machine to produce micro-holes.
7. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : Rs.16,000/- P.M. (1st and 2nd year)
Rs.18,000/-( 3rd year)
8. Essential Qualifications and experience : B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
9. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : M.Tech in Mechanical Engg. with knowledge of CNC Machine Operation
10. Accommodation : Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided
subject to availability.
